About
Piknik Press is a playful design studio in Los Angeles. Find us where curiosity and quirkiness meet elegance and simplicity. We make cool things for great artists, good people, and clever companies.
Nicole Kiki Jaffe is a graphic designer, web developer, and illustrator in Los Angeles. She enjoys working on projects with art and cultural organizations, small businesses, non-profits, artists, musicians, writers, and filmmakers.
In 2014, she and Roman Jaster co-founded Yay Brigade, a studio specializing in web development and publication design. Branching out on her own in 2018, she founded her new studio, Piknik Press, with a focus on working with great artists, good people, and clever companies.
Nicole was on the faculty at CalArts from 2015–2017 where she taught Multimedia Web. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Southern California in 2012 with a BA in Neuroscience and minors in Communication Design and Theatre.
When she’s not designing, Nicole can be found singing and playing guitar in her band, dancing at the Sweat Spot, swaying in the front row at a show, knitting, thinking about food, or watching Rupaul’s Drag Race.
